Collection: sâkipâkaw collection (Spring/Summer 2025)

Tansi, I’m so excited to finally share my newest collection with you sâkipâkaw, which means “bloom” in Cree.

This collection is reflection of a time of rebirth, renewal, and a gentle awakening. It reflects the moment when the land begins to breathe again. The snow melts away, the ground softens, and the plants, flowers, leaves, and sacred medicines begin to bloom again.

Each piece in this collection is inspired by that sacred shift in the universe. The soft pinks, fresh greens, and delicate florals symbolize healing, growth, and beauty not just in nature, but in ourselves. sâkipâkaw is about honouring the cycles of our lives, embracing our own seasons of blooming, and reconnecting with the land, language, and spirit.

As a nehiyaw/ tsuu t’ina designer, I wanted this collection to feel like a gentle little prayer, one that carries the teachings of the land into what we wear, how we move, and how we carry ourselves in our everyday lives. 🌷🌿💗🌸🌿🌱
